The Booshink Story of the Week

If you start with one true, declarative sentence then you have a start. Let one true sentence follow another until you get to the end and there, you've done it. You've written something.

At first I just wanted my own web site where I could post information about things that are interesting to me: art, pottery, classical guitar, computing, books, writing, music and other stuff. Then, later, I began to have a growing desire to actually try to make a living on the Internet. Eventually I quit my job and went on line full time. It hasn't been easy and we (Gwen and I) are still struggling. But, I am determined to make it. I give guitar and computer lessons and “piddle” with my Internet stuff. It's fun, anyway.

I wonder how you wound up here. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad you did, but I am always interested to know what leads people to Booshink. Most I suspect just get here by accident. Others my come on purpose. I hope that if you come again it will be that way.

Anyway, now that you ARE here I want to give you a reason to stay awhile. The SITE MENU on the left will give you a pretty good idea of some of the content you can find here. If you're not in too big a hurry, check it out.

The thing I am most interested in right now is Alt.Booshink. This is sort of Booshink's alter ego. I want this to be a place where people can post their writings, photos, or anything creative and interesting.

The sad truth is, nothing is free these days. It costs money to keep this site up and to provide for basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.
